LOCAL SOCIAL WORKER WINS STATE AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE
Candice Cleveland Honored for Exemplary Work in Field of Sex Offender Treatment
Corning,
NY, (June 29, 2005) --- On May 6, 2005 at the annual New York State Association
of Sex Offender Service Providers and New York State Alliance for the Treatment
of Sexual Abusers Conference held in White Plains, NY, Candice Cleveland, LCSW-R,
received a state wide award for outstanding service in the field of providing
treatment to sex offenders. The Marilyn Etcheverry Award of Excellence is given
annually to the individual who has been identified as having done exemplary work
in the field of evaluation and treatment of sex offenders. Ms. Cleveland has
served as the Director of the Choice sexual abuse treatment program at Family
Service Society, Inc. since 1989, where she works out of both the
