Family Service Society, Inc. offers a full range of services designed to meet the needs of families and individuals in the home, workplace, and community. Our professional staff is comprised of social  workers, counselors, therapists, prevention specialists and youth workers. Family Service Society, Inc. is committed to helping people from Steuben County (NY) and the surrounding area.

In addition to individual and family counseling, we offer structured after-school and youth programs, along with specialized counseling for sexual abuse and domestic violence, and a mentoring program for youth. Services are available in several convenient locations throughout Steuben County.
 
Each person is treated with dignity and respect at Family Service Society, Inc. Confidentiality is of utmost importance at our agency. Family Service Society, Inc. can connect you with the appropriate resources regardless of the issue or problem.

The Laura Richardson Houghton Corning Youth Center is ready to celebrate our 25th Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner next month, and you're invited! 🦃🥧

Join us for a FREE delicious Thanksgiving feast with friends, family, and neighbors. It’s our way of saying thank you to this amazing community.

Whether your child attends the Youth Center or not, this event is for everyone—all are welcome!

Innovation Award from Excellus BlueCross BlueShield
Family Service Society, Inc. is excited to share that we’ve received a Health Equity Innovation Award from Excellus BlueCross BlueShield! This funding will help us expand our Behavioral Health Screening and Treatment Program, offering no-cost mental health screenings and services to even more children, teens, and perinatal women in Steuben and Chemung counties. Mental health is essential to overall well-being, and we’re proud to partner with Excellus BlueCross BlueShield to ensure underserved communities have access to the care they deserve.
