Anxiety holds your clients back from many things that they hold precious. Plus, it is increasing in our culture in frequency and intensity. This full-day workshop will teach you the six steps in treating anxiety and depression. Rather than merely learning calming techniques, you’ll be able to empower your clients to reclaim their lives from anxiety by helping them understand it and where it comes from. Through experiential learning, understand and practice Dr. Aman’s six steps to healing negative thoughts and emotions using body psychology and narrative therapy approaches. You will improve your skills, positively impacting the clients you serve.
During this training, participants will learn:
  • 6 steps of anxiety recovery treatment from a Narrative and neurobiological approach
  • 15 common lies that anxiety tells, and how to uncover the ones that affect your clients
  • how to use therapeutic documents to break down the power of anxiety
  • to connect your clients with their personal agency to get power back in themselves
  • how to help children externalize anxiety by using personifying language
  • how to do an exposé on anxiety using story and magical thinking.
