How can we understand and prevent trauma in children, families, and communities? How do we invest in protective systems that help families and communities heal? Family Service Society, Inc. and the United Way of the Southern Tier, in collaboration with Pro Action of Steuben & Yates, Inc., will be offering the ACEs/N.E.A.R. An in-depth overview of the original Adverse Childhood Experiences study and subsequent studies that have shaped our understanding of how neuroscience, epigenetics, Adverse Childhood Experiences, and resilience impact all of us.
